Why this matters — what we do differently

Official reports (links above) document the scale. Our work translates those findings into focused interventions: preventing crashes through education, shortening response time through training and tech, and supporting survivors to rebuild lives.

Satwik’s story — a 14-year-old whose life was cut short — is why we act. Instead of repeating headline numbers here, we use this space to show how we apply them: scalable programmes, local donor networks, and partnerships that deliver help where it’s needed.

Prevention
School & youth clubs, driving curriculum and community audits.
Response
First-aid training, trauma tools, and the RaktSetu donor network.
Recovery
Counselling, prosthetic & rehab support, and insurance guidance.

Road Safety Awareness Programmes - Building a Culture of Care

Change begins with those just starting out on the road. That’s why we focus on teenagers, college students, and first-time drivers – while also encouraging parents to set the right example.

Through awareness programmes in schools, colleges, government offices, and private institutions, we aim to create a generation that drives with responsibility, empathy, and caution.

  • Workshops for students & families to build safe habits
  • 🚗 Advance Road Safety & Defensive Driving Training
  • 👁️ Eye Check-Up Camps for drivers to reduce vision-related crashes

“Papa left home to bring me back from school... but the road never let him return to me.”

Every crash is preventable. Every life lost is a story unfinished.

Inspired by Satwik’s memory — saving lives, shaping tomorrow.

Emergency & Trauma Response – Every Second Counts

When a crash happens, time is life. We train youth, citizens, and first responders in life-saving first aid:

The ABCDE Approach (Airway, Breathing, Circulation, Disability, Exposure)

CPR & trauma care basics

Digital emergency response tools to call help faster

By preparing communities to act, we ensure that no victim is left helpless in those first golden minutes.

Good Samaritan Law – Protecting Those Who Protect Others

India’s Good Samaritan Law ensures that no bystander will face legal trouble for helping an accident victim. Yet fear and misinformation stop many from stepping forward.

At Satwik Sathi Memorial Foundation, we spread awareness of this law through workshops, campaigns, and recognition programs like the Raah-Veer Certificates.

Because saving a life should never be a risk.

Supporting Victims & Families – Healing Beyond Survival

Road crashes don’t just hurt individuals — they shake entire families. Survivors and their loved ones often face financial strain, emotional trauma, and rehabilitation challenges.

We are working to provide:

Hospital Care & Treatment Guidance

Insurance Literacy to protect families financially

Financial Aid & Rehabilitation Support

Emotional Counseling & Community Care
